A Tribe Called Quest
Lets talk about HIP HOP people!
We don't need to introduce you this group because if you love hip hop you obviously know them. Anyway we don't mind to talk about them for some lost people because we can garantee that you will love them and then put some of their tunes on your Ipod and them pretend you know them since ages (Oldskoolgeneration love those kind of people,they're so funny and cute)
So what can we say about A Tribe Called Quest?
First of all one of the best hip hop American group, we have to tell. Yes people they are American, its always about Americans... We know some people keep criticize them BUT at the end of the day they have to admit in some point that Americans do a lots of good stuff isn't it!? Do we have to talk about people are always trying to copy them? ANYWAY, let's go back to our lovely group,
A Tribe Called Quest was formed in 1995 and composed of
Q-TIP (Kamaal Lgn John Fareed or Jonathen Davis) rapper and producer,
Phife Dawg (Malik Taylor) rapper
Ali Shaheed Muhammad Dj and producer and
Jarobi White who left the group after their first album and joined the group again in 2006.
People you remember we already told you about the Native Tongues Poses, which is a Hip Hop collective of late 80's and early 90's with artiste known for their "positive-minded, good-natured Afrocentric lyrics" who has got jazz influenced beats, so let us tell you that A Tribe Called Quest is one of the principal members of that collective.
They released five albums betwwen 1990 and 1998, first album is "People Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm" (1990)
For Funky lovers you will reconize on that tune the sample of the Chambers Brothers "funk"
