So we said nice voice + cute guy + 80's then let me a little bit talk about this Terence Trent d'Arby, this lovely American singer with that lovely deep voice, the kind of voice that leave you the mounth open without noticing a little fly get inside.

Terence Trent d'Arby was born in 1962 in Manhattan. He was trained as boxer and at 18 he won the Florida Golden Gloves lightweight championship. We were close to never know him as a singer!

His first Album "Introduction the Hardline According to Terrence Trent D'Arby" was released in july 1987. In 1988 he earned a Grammy Award as the Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male and a Soul Train Award nomination for Best New Artist.

His second album "Neitheir fish flesh" released in 1989, then in 1993 he came back with a new one "Symphony or damn" that contained the duet with Des' Ree "delicate"

In 1995 This it's the turn of the album "Vibrator" to be released, following a world tour.

In 2001 Terence Trent d'Arby is no longer Terence Trent d'Arby but Sananda Maitreya, he legally changed his name saying to an interview that Terence Trent d'Arby was dead, he needed to " free himself artistically and reinvent himself from the oppressive nature of the record business."

Today Sananda Maitreya is still performing and you know what? One of the best thing that could happen is a duet with Prince!!!!

Sandana Maitreya and Prince papapapapapapapa I could dribble too for that Ah!

Let's send them that idea and while waiting for that duet lets enjoy some of his amazing songs.
