Supreme NTM

Today let's go on the Eiffel Tower side and talk about French Hip hop!!! Lets go to one of the famous French district and let's talk about one of the best old school hip hop french group, the Supreme NTM or simply NTM.

For people who don't know them, NTM means "Nique Ta Mere", and for the one who don't speak French the meaning is "Fuck Your Mother"... So from now you've got the choice to pick the one you like the most, NTM or SUPREM NTM!

NTM Dates Concert a Paris 001NTM is two "nice" rappers, Joey Starr (Didier Morville) and Kool Shen (Bruno Lopes). Before rapping both of them start with breakdance and graffiti and they both come from Seine Saint Denis that belong to the district 93 (neuf, trois). If you prick up your ears, you can hear them remind you in most of their songs where they come from.

NTM is known for their love toward the police. At their beginning, they were rapping violent lyrics against the police and legal battle with the authorities. But one day our lovely guys from 93 calm down and start singing anti-violent songs like "pose ton gun" that mean "put your gun down"

For people who don't know them you will notice that Joey Starr is the one always yelling with his deep voice and Kool Shen is the one with the coolest funky flow. As a good rappers, they collaborated with number of International artist like Nas with the song "Affirmative action".

Too much talk, let's now listen some of their best tunes.
